We founded Advance Dog Day Trips because we saw an opportunity to bring something special to the Southampton dog community. With over eight years of combined experience in dog care, we are dedicated to creating enriching, safe, and joyful experiences for every dog we work with.
After meeting while working at a local dog day care, we quickly connected over our shared love for dogs and commitment to their welfare. In 2023, we decided to bring our dream to life by launching Advance Dog Day Trips. Now, we’re thrilled to offer dog owners a place where their pets can enjoy meaningful adventures, gain new skills, and connect with other dogs in a safe, supportive environment.
Emily holds a masters degree in Animal Welfare Science and Behaviour, and is a qualified Level 4 Canine Behaviourist with the Institute of Modern Dog Training. Both of us are DBS-checked and Canine First Aid trained. We uphold the latest, most effective practices in dog care and training to ensure we’re offering the best possible service. Safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of everything we do, and we’re committed to treating every dog as if they were our own.
Our passion for dogs extends beyond our work. We are very proud of our commitments to supporting those dogs less fortunate. We have ties to a local animal rescue centre to whom we visit and collect donations for. We are so appreciative for the support our efforts receive and for the community we have built.
In 2024, we also took part in the Battersea Dogs and Cats charity – a joyful, challenging experience that we got to share with two of our most mud loving adventurers! This adventure was a testament to the bond we create with the dogs we care for and the trust our clients have in us to bring their dogs along on incredible journeys.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Emily & Yasmin as they go above and beyond to make sure the dogs are safe and having fun, they are extremely reliable, trustworthy and the company is professionally run. Mitzi absolutely loves going on her adventures and always comes home happy, content and very tired. Advance dog day trips have been fabulous for us. My dog has wonderful adventures enjoying days out across some of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Every day is a new place which stimulates his senses and he comes home happy and relaxed, having had a lot of fun and a bit of training with his buddies. Yasmin and Emily have a wonderful rapport with the dogs and Benji really looks forward to being fetched. I really appreciate the photographic record of each day out.

It's been a fantastic year for Frodo, he loves going on his weekly adventures in the countryside. What's great about both Yasmin & Emily is that they care deeply about the development of our cocker spaniel, they're not just plain dog walkers. Frodo loves the activities including scent work, puzzles, learning new tricks and improving his social cues. It's been a pleasure to see him grow from adolescence to an adult and it's down to help from these lovely ladies.

Beau has been under Emily and Yasmins care since he was 14 weeks old. It’s always daunting especially if you’re a new dog owner knowing who to choose to care for your furry baby. Emily and Yasmin feel like family to us and we 1000% trust them in caring and teaching our Cavapoo Beau. We are so lucky that Beau has a space at Advance. Yasmin picks up Beau every Wed and it truly is his favourite day of the week, sitting by the door until she arrives! Their care, professional and love can be seen with all the dogs attitudes and behaviours. They make the sessions fun but also with invaluable structured learning sessions.
Beau wouldn’t be such a friendly well adapted dog if it wasn’t for Advance and we are truly grateful. You both deserve every success in your wonderful business.

Riley has been with Advance doggie day care from day one!! He loves his Fridays there with all his doggie friends. But more importantly to us Yasmin & Emily are the best! They look after Riley as if he was their own, Riley gets so excited when Yasmin turns up. I know he is in safe hands with her. Riley has learnt so much & playtime with his friends is the best. We always get a report at the end of the day of how their day went, what activities they have done and a little video or photos. Riley always comes home happy and tired! I am sure it’s the best 6 hours of his week!! Thank you Yasmin & Emily.

All I can say about Advance Dog Day Trips is that Bertie knows when it is Friday and is on tenterhooks from about 9.30! He can't wait to get in the car and be gone. He comes home, (usually filthy or wet!), with a doggy smile on his face, eats tea and falls asleep. He's obviously had a great time, and as his owner I can only thank you for the care and enjoyment you add to his week. The videos and photos are really nice to see, and always good for a laugh!

Emily and Yasmin are both amazing. Nothing is too much for them. Teddy loves his days with them. He loves it at Rodney’s ranch and when he has an adventure somewhere. He is so happy when they pick him up. I love the way they always do photos or a video and write about what they have been up to that day. Thank You both for always looking after teddy.

Our 4-year-old Cockapoo Rosie actively looks forward to her twice weekly adventure with Emily and the team. We feel comfortable that she is in safe and expert hands and Rosie enjoys seeing her friends, thriving on the experiences and activities provided each week. Her core skills like recall, dog socialisation etc have also improved tremendously! We particularly enjoy the daily debrief and following her adventures on Instagram!

Advance with Emily has been looking after our boy, Clyde, since he was a puppy. Emily has gone above and beyond for him with everything from his training to his care and wellbeing. Since Clyde has gone through the puppy stage and into the teenage phase while walking with Emily, he has been tricky at times. Emily has always kept us updated with how he gets on, any behaviours we need to keep an eye on and what she's done to work on those behaviours. We love our daily update about Clyde's day and Emily's genuine enthusiasm and care for what she does really reassures us that he is in safe and caring hands. We cannot recommend Advance enough, Clyde has come on leaps and bounds with his confidence, recall and sociability and we know he will always come home happy and tired after the best day with Emily and his friends.

Advance dog day trips are superb. Our dog Bennie has thrived under Emily’s care and become much more confident and happy around other dogs. Bennie absolutely loves Emily and can’t wait for his weekly adventure. Emily and Yasmin have created the perfect environment for dogs to learn, play and have just the most fun imaginable. Emily has got to know Bennie inside out and the additional training she has provided has been invaluable because she knows him so well. We can’t recommend Advance Dog Day Trips and Emily highly enough. Since Noodle was a puppy, she has taken him on weekly adventures that go beyond typical walks, incorporating structured training and desensitization to things like livestock and fireworks. Noodle is always so excited to see Emily and comes home happy and tired.
Emily also chaperoned Noodle at our wedding, ensuring he looked great and behaved perfectly. It meant the world to us to include him without added stress, and our guests were so impressed by her care. Emily’s professionalism and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything she does!
